In addition, barcode scanners and digital cameras ensure comprehensive documentation directly at the point of care. The entire patient workflow is depicted consistently and without system-related gaps.
The ability to integrate mobile terminal devices means that the entire range of functions can be used directly at the patient's bedside. MCC supports the widest variety of technologies. Client communication in MCC was expanded specifically to meet WLAN communication requirements. Thanks to reconnect mechanisms, server access is guaranteed, even if the network connection is interrupted. MCC's user interface is particularly well suited for entering information on a touchpad. Thanks to the use of web-based application servers for specific functions, the system supports all types of PDA devices based on Windows Mobile.
